Can you imagine being the man able to trade Brett Favre? That's precisely what may happen if NFL Network's Adam Schefter is correct in the most visited page on American football.org right now, which states that the Packers have begun actually talking to competitors about what they would offer for Favre. The story mentions that the Kit is looking for feelers on what they will be offered for Favre’s services, their operational Quarterback who is currently saying he would like to keep coming back after retiring early Goal.

Schefter confirms that the Kit has called numerous AFC teams, and at least one NFC team. The first thing that might be asked is which organization(s) were called, and what was initially the asking price from other teams. AFC teams mentioned from day one include the Chiefs and Jets, but the Vikings were the team many thought Favre would consider joining within the NFC. You can bet no other team will get Farve at his best NFC competing level.

The other question obviously is what is Favre worth? I would say no team in the NFL right now is willing to give up a first-round pick, but is he worth a second rounder? I would say "for sure," but that’s about the team able to make a deal with the competitor that will handle the distractions of life, and a team will have to be built around Favre, and adjust their plan to cater to his strengths, whether you think it's great or not.

So the situation continues, get more on this as the Packers continue to try to push this out. Keep in mind Brett still has to even send a letter to the Commissioner and the NFL to be reinstated. Once he does that, it's game on, to see the Pack keep searching for the best deal available, and whichever team Favre will accept.
