Fault Phenomenon: The washing machine continues to fill with water even after reaching the set water level.

Analysis and Inspection: There are primarily two causes for this type of fault: either the water level switch is damaged, or the temperature controller is damaged. After disconnecting the power supply to the washing machine, use a multimeter to measure the two pairs of contacts on the water level switch, both of which are found open. Under normal circumstances, after the washing machine finishes filling with water, the two pairs of contacts on the water level switch should close respectively, allowing the washing machine to enter the heating wash mode. Based on the above test results, it can be determined that the water level switch is damaged.

Resolution: After replacing the water level switch with one of the same specifications, the machine was tested and the fault was resolved.
