MoGuo is a location-based mobile social application for strangers. Upon opening the app, users can view photos and background information of every MoGuo user nearby, quickly find common topics, and instantly communicate through their mobile devices. MoGuo has innovatively designed a unique interaction mechanism that allows even shy homebodies to easily find topics and make friends with every stranger around them.

Recently, the concept of LBS (Location-Based Services) has been revisited, largely due to the resurgence of the SoLoMo marketing concept, which is a mix of Social (social), Location (location), and Mobile (mobile). I have mentioned more than once in my blog that location-based mobile social networking could very likely be the last glimmer of hope for entrepreneurs before the burst of this mobile internet bubble. After this wave, it will be very difficult for mobile internet to have another big opportunity. However, I personally believe that this glimmer offers entrepreneurs the greatest opportunity and challenge of the entire mobile internet era - a revolutionary chance to overturn Facebook and Twitter! Years from now, people may no longer remember Instagram, Kik, or Color, but they could regard SoLoMo as the lifestyle attitude of the younger generation in the mobile interconnected world.

Currently, SoLoMo products face two major development bottlenecks: 1) In both time and space dimensions, low user density leads to low user activity; 2) The naturally scattered social relationships over time eventually cause collective migration of users to other social platforms. For these two issues, I cannot yet provide any practical and effective solutions, but they can only be addressed through clever product design, strong product operations, and significant capital investment. Currently, domestic teams engaged in related product research and development include Momo and Jimi.
