Haier Refrigerator Repair Case Study; The entire refrigerator does not work.
Fault Phenomenon: After plugging in the power, the entire unit does not work.
Analysis and Repair: Upon inspection, it was found that the compressor of the refrigerator was functioning normally, and the interior light was on. After removing the defrost timer, it was discovered that its motor winding had opened, and it was in the defrost state. Using a screwdriver to turn the motor clockwise by a small angle, the compressor could start working and cooling again. Then, a new defrost timer was replaced to allow the refrigerator to defrost automatically. After the above treatment, the refrigerator returned to normal operation, and the fault was eliminated.
Note: For frost-free refrigerators, there is generally no leakage of Freon. When the cooling effect becomes worse, the electrical part should be checked carefully. Among these, the defrost heating wire, defrost timer, and fans have relatively higher failure rates.
