Haier Repair Case: Clina XQG50-2 Washing Machine Cannot Heat Wash
Fault Phenomenon: The washing machine cannot heat wash.
Inspection and Judgment: The working principle of the heating wash for this machine is as follows: When the water temperature of the detergent solution is heated to 40°C, the constant temperature contact point of the water heater thermostat at 40°C closes. The current then passes through B10, A10, D1, DO~D3 to the motor M and the electronic speed control module. The electronic speed control module adjusts the rotational speed, where the program controller contacts E11, E12, D8, D5, E8, E5 control the internal circuitry of the electronic speed control module, thereby controlling the set speed of the motor. This program controller controls the closing status of the electronic speed control module contacts; the intermittent on-off between the E9~E14 contact switches and E11 is 7.5 seconds on and 1 minute off. From the above analysis, the causes of this fault could be: (1) The normally open contact of the water level switch has not closed; (2) The thermostat is damaged; (3) The heating element is damaged; (4) The temperature controller is damaged; (5) The cold water wash key is damaged. After progressively checking related components such as the water heating tube fuse TF, water heating tube RR, heating wash switch I6, water temperature adjustment thermostat THR, water heating thermostat TH40, TH60, it was found that the water heating tube RR was damaged.
Repair Method: After replacing the water heating tube RR with one of the same specification, the fault was resolved.
