According to the victim Mr. Chen, at around 3:00 am that day, he rode his motorcycle to the meat processing plant to purchase pork. Around 3:20 am, while driving past a car wash near the plant, about seven or eight men riding three motorcycles suddenly came towards him and blocked his way with knives. One of them held a knife to him, while three others robbed him of over 300 yuan and a mobile phone before leaving the scene.
It is understood that within the next three hours, three other pork vendors were also robbed on the road in front of the meat processing plant. A total of over 600 yuan in cash and three mobile phones were stolen, fortunately without anyone getting injured.
Yangcheng Evening News learned from the meat processing plant and the pork vendors that in the previous month, multiple cases of pork vendors being robbed had already occurred on the road in front of Xuwen Food Company Meat Processing Plant. For various reasons, they did not report the incidents. The meat processing plant is located in the southeastern suburbs of Xuwen County, about 800 meters away from the county town. The road has an S-shaped curve, and aside from a car repair shop and the Haian Town Court office building, there are only some trees on both sides of the road. Recently, the reporter intentionally walked along this road and found that there wasn't a single streetlight.
