The focus of WordPress 3.2 development is to make WordPress smaller and faster. When you first use version 3.2, you'll see a redesigned dashboard; these changes are not only in typography and layout but also in the code behind it. We offer you a new theme every year, and if you're just starting to blog, you might like this year's brand-new "Twenty Eleven" theme, which was created using HTML5 technology. You can also try the full-screen writing mode, or what we call the "meditation" mode — this is Matt's favorite feature in this version: all modules, menus, buttons, and other interface elements fade out, allowing you to write in a peaceful environment; of course, when you need these functions, just move your mouse to the top of the screen, and the buttons for commonly used functions will appear. (Pressing F11 can even hide elements of the operating system, such as the taskbar, enabling true full-screen mode.)
