Symbian V3 V5 System Upgrade Involves Multiple Phone Models

Recently, there have been constant exposures of new Nokia phones. Various new phones with the Symbian Anna system and Meego system have appeared online. While Nokia is launching these new systems and phones, it has not neglected the previously released Symbian V3 and V5 systems. Recently, a batch of V3 and V5 system phones will receive upgrade notifications pushed by Nokia.

According to the introduction, there are 14 models of Symbian V3 and V5 phones involved in this system upgrade. The main change in this update is the update to Nokia's latest browser, version V7.3, which is the same as the one pre-installed in the Symbian Anna system, allowing users to enjoy a better internet browsing experience with the new browser.

In addition, the OVI Maps in the Symbian V3 system will be upgraded. The new Ovi Maps 3 SR4 will support indoor positioning functions via WiFi connection, mainly used in large shopping malls and stores. For devices with the Symbian V5 system, the maps will be updated to Ovi Maps 3 SR6, enabling users to connect with social networking sites through the map.
