3D Desktop Application Demonstration

Bumptop and Shock Desktop 3D provide a completely new way for you to organize your desktop files and applications in 3D. Moving or dragging application or file icons on the desktop is like rolling dice. You can pick up any icon and throw it anywhere on the screen, and as it passes through a "pile" of files, the file icons flip over, fall, and scatter across the entire desktop - it's a realistic physics simulation. To gather a pile of files together, you can organize them into a stack and drag them aside. The future desktop is just like your real desk, where you have piles of papers and books that you can easily keep neatly organized or leave scattered across the desk, however you like. Below is an invitation-only Bumptop desktop demo video:

Windows Vista and Mac OS X are pushing graphics to the extreme in their respective next-generation operating systems. First, they introduce novel graphical zoom effects and stretching window effects on the screen, then add various transparency effects in windows or docks. It won't be long before we can use this kind of 3D desktop, especially as GPUs (graphics processing chips) become more powerful and increasingly common in laptops.

BumpTop is currently in Beta testing and can only be downloaded by invitation. Shock Desktop 3D is already available for download (Windows version only).

Linux achieved the 3D desktop earlier than Windows. However, many people are intimidated when they hear the name Linux, but actually, Linux is an excellent operating system with strengths in the server field. Nowadays, Linux is also growing stronger in the desktop arena. Today, let's experience the charm of the Linux desktop together.
