The legendary official version of QQ2007II has been released for some time, but since ZFreet is not a member, I haven't paid much attention to what new features it has. Aside from sending text messages via QQ being free, it seems like everything else is tied to membership; in the future, if Tencent stipulates that non-members can only send 1000 characters plus 1MB of data in images per day, while members will have different limits based on their membership level...
If that were to happen, it would be exactly what I hope to see. In that case, rich people would use QQ; poor people would use WLM and GTalk, and ZFreet proudly belongs to the latter.
Today, I accidentally noticed three extra buttons next to the emoticon images in the QQ chat window. Since I usually use TM, I was quite surprised by this discovery. Upon clicking, I found this "doodle emoticon" feature; I had never seen it before, so it was quite intriguing. But unsurprisingly, there was a friendly reminder: "You are not yet a member. Activate QQ membership to use the doodle function."
It was also an accidental discovery, and just happened that there was a Feng Piao Xue activation expert on my desktop. Whenever there's a grayed-out box or button that cannot be activated, I would try to activate it. The result was as follows in the image below:
