Pickled cabbage has already become a superman. He can fly in the sky, swim in the deep sea, walk on walls, see in the dark, and speak many foreign languages. He understands the language of all animals.

After gaining the ability to fly and swim, Pickled Cabbage confidently prepared to go see Rose. Before he went, in order to get rid of his suspiciously soy-sauce colored skin, he soaked himself in vinegar for a whole night to make his skin whiter. Then he sprinkled perfume, wore a cloak made from white clouds, and flew towards the nursery like a great swordsman. At that moment, no one could have guessed that he was once that dark, round pickled cabbage head.

Because of healing his wings, Pickled Cabbage hadn't been to the nursery for a long time. He didn't know how Rose was doing now. While flying, Pickled Cabbage excitedly thought: What will be her reaction when she sees me?

Finally, he arrived at the nursery. He turned left and right but couldn't find Rose. With no other options, he had to go find Dogtail Grass. Dogtail Grass then led him to Flower Butterfly. However, Flower Butterfly told him there was no need to go as Rose had already married. Upon hearing this, Pickled Cabbage almost fainted. Struggling to keep his spirit up, he asked who Rose had married. Flower Butterfly said it was the wind. Everyone has two slaves, everyone is a princess and a prince. Dogtail Grass, upon hearing this, remarked that since the wind was so flirtatious and insubstantial, how could Rose marry him? But Flower Butterfly argued back saying that the wind was elegant and romantic, and since his character was similar to Rose's, they were of the same type, so why not? Flower Butterfly asked if Pickled Cabbage wanted to see her, to which Pickled Cabbage firmly replied yes. However, Flower Butterfly refused to take him. So, Pickled Cabbage recounted to Flower Butterfly how these past few years, for Rose, he had struggled hard and become a superman. Impressed by his story, Flower Butterfly decided to take Pickled Cabbage to see Rose.

At this point, Rose had already moved into a greenhouse. Although the conditions were good, Rose was no longer the rose in the wind from those days. Her velvet-like petals had turned yellow, her formerly reserved and shy half-bloomed beauty had become an unbearable matron look. Most noticeable was her waistline, which used to be delicate but now bulged with the start of new life. She had passed through youth and was now heading towards maturity.

Seeing her, Pickled Cabbage couldn't believe this was the Rose from before. When he confirmed it was indeed her by her unchanged leaves and her reserved nodding posture, Pickled Cabbage looked up to the sky and sighed: Time! Heaven! Why are you so cruel and heartless? Why does maturity have to come with aging and ugliness? In your hands, youth turns into withered flowers and beautiful things become unbearable in an instant. You are more terrible than any witchcraft. Time is very fair; he lets all lives (including animals and plants) go through growth, youth, maturity, and aging, regardless of nobility or poverty, without favoritism. He is the fairest one, not just letting us dogtail grasses turn yellow and die in winter. Dogtail Grass commented from the side.

Seeing Rose in this state, Pickled Cabbage lost interest in talking to her anymore. Years of hope vanished in an instant. All the efforts over many days became meaningless. He suddenly felt very disheartened and stood up to leave.

He originally thought that Rose would be dead to him after this, and he would never think of her again. However, when he returned home, he realized that he still missed Rose. Thinking about her half-blooming posture, thinking about her reserved nodding, Rose still lived in his heart. This made him confused. He didn't know what exactly he was missing, or who he truly wanted.

One day, tormented by thoughts of Rose with no escape, he jumped up and pointed to the sky, shouting: Damn it, since I, Pickled Cabbage, can become a superman and completely change myself, I don't believe I can't become a super heaven and reverse time, restoring Rose to her original self.

From then on, Pickled Cabbage began his effort and journey towards becoming a super heaven.
