According to the British "Daily Mail" report on December 13, if you want to know how spectacular the gales and snowstorms in Europe were this year, just take a look at a giant snowman that recently appeared in Poland. This snowman is 31 feet (about 9.4 meters) tall. Its red nose was made from a traffic cone, and its height is level with the surrounding two-story buildings.
The creators believe their masterpiece is likely the world's largest snowman ever. However, when a new round of cold snap hit the U.S. on the evening of the 11th with snowfall of two inches per hour (about 5 cm), more children stayed home from school, so this record may not last long.
