On the afternoon of the 15th, the Fukushima Prefecture government posted two tweets in a row, publishing the evacuation plan for Chinese citizens from Fukushima on that day. The posts included detailed information such as evacuation locations, contacts, the number of shuttle buses, and their capacities. Earlier, the tweet also quoted Wang Hua, the Chinese consul general in Niigata, confirming the safety of the 420 Chinese citizens currently in Fukushima.

Yesterday afternoon, the official Weibo account of the Fukushima government once again announced the schedule and contact information for the Niigata Consulate's evacuation of Chinese citizens on the 16th. It stated that the consulate would escort the evacuees to Niigata Airport and then arrange flights to help them return home. By the evening of the 15th, at least six Chinese netizens had posted missing person information on this Weibo account. Mr. Yue from Rizhao, Shandong, successfully contacted his sister in Japan through the official Weibo account of the Fukushima government.

Huaxi Metropolis Daily (Intern reporter Huang Hanyu): "Here, there is no hustle and bustle of big cities; instead, there are magnificent landscapes and thick folk customs. Beautiful Fukushima awaits your visit." This is the introduction of Fukushima Prefecture government on its Sina Weibo official account. After the Fukushima nuclear crisis erupted, this government Weibo account, originally used to promote local tourism resources, frequently published online updates about the safety and evacuation of Chinese citizens in Fukushima.
