Who says a blade of grass can ever repay the warmth of the sun?

Last Friday night at 3:30, after singing, I returned home with the smell of smoke and alcohol all over me. While I was taking a shower, my wife shouted that our son had a fever. It was abnormal for the child to have a slightly high temperature, but I didn't expect it to be as high as 39 degrees when we took his temperature. We immediately got dressed and went to the hospital. Since the doctors at the nearby clinic were not very good, we asked on the way which doctor would be there, and upon finding out, we headed directly. Our son fears this place the most; every time we come, it's the same room. I think he definitely remembers it, but that night, he behaved exceptionally well. He cooperated fully with the temperature check, blood pressure measurement, and auscultation, just lying in my arms with his head against mine, burning hot. I felt so much love for this little guy. Starting at nine months old, he began eating food, then gradually eating together with us. With such a strong body, how could he fall so seriously ill? All I could think about was that he mustn't burn himself out, otherwise, all our hard work would be wasted, haha! After the medication was prescribed, we returned home, gave him the medicine, and by then, it was already dawn. On Saturday, despite having a fever, the child's spirit was surprisingly good, constantly walking around, playing with one thing after another. However, the temperature did not subside at all. We used everything available, like bathing and alcohol swabs, but none of it worked. In the evening, he started vomiting, and we feared he might choke himself, so we took turns keeping watch during the night. Sunday was the same, and in the evening, coughing was added to the symptoms, so we continued taking turns watching him. My mother was the most attentive, continuously wiping his body with alcohol. Finally, on Monday afternoon, the temperature came down. But in the evening, he kept coughing, so we continued to take turns watching over him.

Watching my child reminded me of scenes from "Saint Seiya: Norse God Warriors." In the heavy snowstorm, the father holds his son in his arms, covering him with a large cloak, braving the wind to move forward because the son has a fever. This scene is something I've always wanted to personally paint, but I don't know how to start since I can't draw. When I was small, my own mother carried me on her back to see doctors and get medicine. As the saying goes, "Who says the tiny grass heart can repay the great spring sunshine?" A friend said that for children, you can never calculate costs and benefits because no matter what, you are constantly giving until death, still thinking about what you can leave for them.

Life is always like this. You may think about times with family that weren't pleasant or harmonious, just like the annual rings carved by time. Even if there are many unhappy moments, the hearts of children and parents deeply love each other, continuing eternally!
