January 6 news: According to foreign media reports, Microsoft officially announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, USA on Wednesday that it will launch a Windows operating system that can support both ARM architecture and X86 architecture at the same time. This is also Microsoft's first Windows operating system based on non-Intel chips.

Microsoft said that Intel and AMD will continue to improve and enhance the x86 architecture, including more energy-saving systems, the recently announced second-generation Core family, and AMD's Fusion APU. Meanwhile, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments will cooperate with Microsoft to support ARM architecture processors on Windows for the first time.
