Today, Tencent has launched the third phase of the QQ旋风 (QQ Hurricane) offline download eligibility application. Following the first two phases of offline download eligibility applications, this is a new event introduced by Tencent for QQ VIP users.

The QQ旋风 offline download function provides users with a faster, more stable, more secure, and more hassle-free download experience. After submitting the task link, QQ旋风 will automatically download it to a dedicated space for VIP users. Once completed, users can retrieve the files from their dedicated space to their local device. This function is very similar to Xunlei's offline download feature; however, Xunlei's service is only available to members. It is rumored that after QQ旋风's offline download feature matures, it will be made available for free to all users.

The third phase of the offline eligibility application officially began at 11:00 AM on June 21st and will continue until June 25th, with a daily limit of 2,000 spots available. Students who need this feature should hurry and apply.
