There are not many new features in Windows XP Service Pack 3, but it includes all the previously released updates and hotfixes, which resolve numerous bugs, improve stability, and save the time-consuming patching process, making it worthwhile to upgrade. In addition to the integrated updates, some of the main new features in Windows XP Service Pack 3 include: modifications to daylight saving time according to the latest laws in various countries; the entry for "Serbia and Montenegro" in the region list has been split into "Republic of Serbia" and "Republic of Montenegro"; support for Bluetooth network devices; inclusion of the "Windows XP Network Diagnostics" component (in the "Tools" menu of IE); inclusion of the Remote Desktop Connection 6.1 client; inclusion of the "Network Access Protection" client; inclusion of "Windows Imaging Component"; inclusion of "Microsoft Management Console 3.0"; inclusion of "Microsoft Core XML Services 6.0"; inclusion of "Windows Installer 3.1 v2"; inclusion of "Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.5"; inclusion of "Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRP) 2.1"; and inclusion of "Wi-Fi Protected Access 2".
