Employment difficulties? Promotion difficulties? Nowadays, most college students have experienced such confusion and bewilderment. In the midst of confusion and struggles, Yuan Hao managed to rise from being known as the "part-time job king" among his classmates to becoming a network testing manager today, all through his relentless efforts.

**A year with seven part-time jobs**

Yuan Hao, a self-taught associate degree holder in animation design and advertising planning, was unwilling to become a "parasite" at home as he approached graduation. He actively joined the job-hunting tide early on. However, job competition is harsh and unforgiving. A well-paying job with good prospects seemed impossibly out of reach for him, a newly graduated associate degree holder with no work experience. After two months, Yuan Hao began his busy life of part-time jobs. "I've been a network administrator, salesperson, clothes seller, shipping clerk, and even a marketing runner... I’ve had seven part-time jobs in total, earning me the nickname 'part-time job king' among my classmates." To survive, Yuan Hao spent those days in constant busyness and anxiety, physically and mentally exhausted, unable to see the future, and even contemplating going with the flow but unwilling to settle for mediocrity. Lost in one part-time job after another, Yuan Hao repeatedly asked himself: Where is my future? Over a year of part-time work made him start reflecting; life couldn't continue like this, and he needed to find a way out.

**The transformative journey at Peking University's Qingniao**

During an accidental dinner with friends, Yuan Hao discovered that a good friend had become a network engineer at a well-known IT company. Originally, after graduation, his friend also faced countless employment failures. Finally, after systematically studying network technology at Peking University’s Qingniao campus in Guangzhou, he successfully found a job. Understanding this, Yuan Hao saw his own path forward. With renewed confidence, he embarked on his transformative journey at Peking University’s Qingniao. At Peking University’s Qingniao, Yuan Hao experienced a completely new learning model. The simulation teaching of workplace scenarios made him more proactive and positive. Every day, instead of passively absorbing knowledge, he unconsciously competed with his "colleagues" and actively acquired technical skills and work experience. He particularly mentioned the career orientation courses offered by the school, where professional qualities, workplace etiquette, time management, and other practical content were taught. There was even special training targeting the characteristics and questions of interviews in multinational large enterprises, which allowed him to stand out in subsequent job interviews. After more than six months of learning and accumulation, Yuan Hao felt like he had undergone a complete transformation, evolving from a confused learner into a confident network expert.

**The joy of taking off**

"Network engineer, starting salary 4000 yuan, 7000 yuan after probation, with more learning opportunities and promotion chances..." In September 2008, when Yuan Hao received the offer (employment notification) from Shanghai Runhe Technology, a sense of joy and fulfillment welled up from deep within him. Relying on the solid professional skills he gained during his studies, Yuan Hao smoothly passed the week-long evaluation after joining and officially entered the largest project team in the company, quickly becoming the project leader. His superiors were highly satisfied with his performance: "We were originally quite worried about his capabilities and doubted whether he could meet our requirements, but his performance exceeded my expectations. In terms of work ideas and technical processes, he even has a stronger theoretical foundation than some older employees." Fulfilling work and a positive mindset made Yuan Hao even more determined and confident. When asked about his initial decision to make changes, he reflected deeply: "Success always goes to those who are prepared. Having dreams requires action. I am very glad I chose Peking University’s Qingniao. All the efforts I put in at Peking University’s Qingniao were not wasted."

**Pioneering a sky of one's own**

After entering the network industry, with the application of his learned knowledge and the continuous accumulation of practical work experience, Yuan Hao’s vision and thinking expanded. His definition of dreams was no longer limited to having a good job or waiting for promotion opportunities, but rather how to recognize himself and showcase himself in this field, thereby forging a unique sky of his own. In July 2009, a new choice presented itself to Yuan Hao. He gave up a raise and returned from Shanghai to Nanjing, joining a company in its nascent development phase—Nanjing Quartet Technology Trading Co., Ltd. At the time, the company didn’t even have an independent network department, and both team building and project initiation were entirely new challenges. "This is what I want," facing challenges and attempts, Yuan Hao did not retreat. Now, Yuan Hao has become the product department manager of the company, responsible for game product analysis and planning, network planning, product testing management, and project management. Yuan Hao believes that the current success is not the end but another turning point in life. Whether he can create his own sky depends entirely on his own efforts and persistence.
