Zhejiang Online, April 12th - There was an escapee who, when surrounded by the police, choked out a sentence that left everyone sighing. "The person I feel most sorry for is my bedridden wife," said Zhu Huiqing in a picture report. If only he had known today's consequence, why didn't he think twice back then? This story is told as a warning to those who act impulsively. The moral of the story goes like this:

"Learn from the profound lessons. The fugitive's capture was heart-wrenching."

Mr. Zhou confessed that he and his wife had a good relationship. During his escape, his wife could only wait for him at home. Recently, his wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Upon hearing the news, Mr. Zhou went almost mad with worry and secretly drove to the hospital to visit her, but was caught by the police due to a traffic violation.

It turned out that on October 16th, 2008 at around 4 PM, in Yuandi Village, Sanhu Street, Ouhai District, Mr. Zhou got into a dispute over homestead rights and ended up beating someone with an iron pipe, causing them minor injuries. Suspected of assault, Mr. Zhou fled the scene that day, leading to a nationwide manhunt initiated by the police.

The policemen calmly asked the man to step out of the car for processing. After ensuring there was no risk of him fleeing by car, the policemen signaled two auxiliary police officers to surround him. Seeing the situation, the man dejectedly said, "Don't worry, I won't run."

After questioning and online facial recognition, the police confirmed that the man was Mr. Zhou, 45 years old, from Ouhai, and was one of the wanted criminals pursued by the local police.

(Wenzhou Daily, Fang Gang) On the morning of April 9th, around 11 AM, near Kaitai Department Store in the city district, the traffic police team of the first detachment of the municipal traffic police corps found a seven-seater minivan violating the 'No Left Turn' sign, turning from Xiechi Lane into Liberation Street, and immediately stopped it. After checking the driver's license of the man and inputting his ID number through the wireless internet of the police system, the three words "wanted criminal" immediately popped up.

After confessing to his crime, Mr. Zhou lowered his head and choked back tears, saying, "I knew I would be caught someday, but the person I feel most sorry for is my bedridden wife."
