Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, founders of Coach Purse Outlet, Dulcetile’s wife, established Juicy Fashion in 1994. The company initially began as a designer T-shirt company. In 1999, the company underwent a significant transformation by entering the jeans and sportswear markets. Subsequently, their most famous project, "the tracksuit," emerged. This project featured elements such as velvet, towel cloth, and cashmere, resulting in iconic low-riding string pants and hoodies with zipper accessories in mouth-watering colors. Skaist-Levy and Nash-Taylor, according to many fashion magazines, made tracksuits as popular as the little black dress. It is worth noting that in 2003, Liz Claiborne acquired Juicy Fashion for an undisclosed sum of millions of dollars.
The sportswear company achieved sales success with items like the "Martha Loves Juicy" T-shirt and ruffled velvet tube dresses. The Juicy Couture brand features clothing projects signed with the company logo, which also includes a highland terrier holding a shield with three hearts, symbolizing love for P & G Pat and Gela Juicies creators. A crown lies overhead while the Juicy Fashion flag flies lower, emphasizing the slogan, "In this charming American-made," achieving a status comparable to labels like Gucci, Guess, and DKNY. This was accomplished through a brilliant marketing strategy involving cultural and social connections, inviting Hollywood top celebrities such as JLO, Cameron Diaz, and Madonna to shop for free. Pictures of these famous women were then taken and used to elevate the status of the label as "fashion ladies."
Fast forward to today, under the auspices of Liz Claiborne, Juicy Fashion has expanded into various market segments. They now offer collections for men and women, children's collections, and fashion accessories including jewelry combinations, handbags, and swimwear. Over the past 14 years, despite numerous changes, one constant has been Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor serving as co-presidents and continuing to lead the organization successfully.
