The Boao International Tourism Forum was held in Hainan. On the 20th, a real estate and tourism themed forum was held in Sanya. Hainan's Vice Governor Jiang Sixian stated that efforts would be made to promote Hainan's tourism towards leisure resort ecological tourism. Meanwhile, Jiang Sixian revealed that Hainan is about to lift the "two suspensions," resuming commercial land development and approvals for new real estate projects. In response, attending experts suggested that real estate development must proceed with protection, as a good ecological environment is the fundamental guarantee for Hainan's sustainable development.
A senior professional in Hainan's real estate industry believed that Hainan has never lacked forward-thinking real estate companies that have begun consciously developing tourism property towards scale, leisure, and ecology, such as Hainan Runan City. This person believed that Runan City meets the needs of the new Hainan's development from at least three aspects: development direction, strategic layout, and ecological environment, driving the construction of Hainan's international tourism island.
From March 19th to 21st, the Boao International Tourism Forum was successfully held in Hainan. The forum comprehensively displayed to the public Hainan's entirely new development direction and pattern under the construction of the international tourism island. The construction of Hainan's international tourism island will focus on the two poles of Sanya and Haikou in the south and north, with layouts on the east and west wings, emphasizing the development of coastal areas. While fully developing Hainan's tourism resources, protecting Hainan's ecological environment and developing Hainan's tourism culture became the core of the forum discussions.
Therefore, combining regional characteristics, protecting natural and ecological environments to achieve sustainable real estate development, is an indispensable mission for Hainan's tourism property in promoting the construction of the international tourism island.
