ForteXorcist Addon Review - buy wow gold (Note: The phrase "buy wow gold" seems to be a repeated or additional term. If this is meant to be part of the title or review, it translates directly as "buy World of Warcraft gold." Let me know if you'd like a more refined translation!)

ForteXorcist is an all-in-one spell and cooldown timer, primarily designed for Warlocks and Death Knights but usable by any class. It has a variety of different elements that pop up when you first load it, and it seems capable of doing everything. While it's mainly aimed at raiding Warlocks, it also offers great utility for Death Knights, which was my primary purpose for trying it out.

What ForteXorcist aims to do is provide a highly configurable spell timer, cooldown timer, warning sounds, and messages. While it provides these features for all characters, it also includes a ton of extra features specifically for Warlocks, such as soulstone tracking, shard management, summoning assistance, and more.

### ForteXorcist Review

While one of the primary purposes of ForteXorcist is to simplify life for Warlocks, I won't be looking at this aspect in depth since I don't play a Warlock. I will briefly discuss the Warlock-specific features later on.

For most classes, ForteXorcist aims to provide an all-in-one spell and cooldown timer. This is important for many classes because most players prefer having a central visual way to see what spells are almost off cooldown, rather than constantly watching icons become available again.

The first thing you'll notice after installing ForteXorcist is the two main bars added to your screen. The first one I'll talk about is the cooldown bar. This bar graphically displays which spells or effects are coming off cooldown next in an easy-to-follow manner. However, it can get a bit cluttered due to the number of things tracked, so be prepared for that. The simple layout conveys a lot of information in a limited space.

As a Death Knight, you'll see runes indicating when they're going to reset, spell cooldowns, and when diseases are wearing off your opponent. As a Warlock, you can additionally expect to see your DoTs, curses, and spell cooldowns. The bar can get busy, but it does a pretty good job of showing everything. My only issue with it is that it can be too cluttered at times. Spells and abilities overlap, making it unclear what's happening. I suppose you get used to it, but it can be hard to follow.

A very cool feature of the bar is that you can click on an ability, and it will announce your remaining cooldown to your party or raid. This means that when someone asks how long until an ability is available (like a Druid's rebirth), you can simply click on it and announce it to the raid.

The second main bar added by ForteXorcist is the spell cooldown timer. This lists spells and abilities and when they'll be available again. The list makes it easy to see what you can cast and how soon. Better yet, you can set it up to show your current target or all targets with abilities on them. This would make monitoring DoTs and Curses on multiple bosses much simpler for a Warlock. Even as a Death Knight, it makes it really easy to tell how many enemies your diseases have spread to, which is nice to know.

A nice feature with the spell cooldown timer is the ability to assign colors to each type of timer. For example, you can make your cooldowns one color, your DoTs on the targets another, and your debuffs a third. This makes it very easy to quickly glance and see what's happening at any given time. You can also set the bars to go up or down from the starting point, so you can place it at the top or bottom of your screen depending on your UI layout.

Now onto some Warlock-specific items. These include soulstone tracking, shard management, and summoning assistance. These little tools simplify life by reminding you visually of important Warlock items. It's frustrating when a raid wipes because a soulstone expired and the Warlock forgot about it, so this will save you the embarrassment. Summoning is also apparently easier to track, which is a good thing. There are tons of settings; the screen scrolls down for what seems like forever!

One thing that stands out to me as a huge benefit with ForteXorcist is the amount of configuration you can do with it. When you first open the configuration screen, prepare to be overwhelmed—it's huge. If you can imagine a change or setup, chances are it's there to be configured. Unfortunately, this is also a downside for the tool because there's so much there that it can be very confusing at first. I played with it for a week and still wasn't sure I knew what everything was for. Worse yet, configuration-wise, it comes preconfigured for a Warlock. If you're another class, it takes a while to disable all the Warlock tools and configure it to match your class. It would be a great feature if there was a quick select for class near the top of the configuration screen, so you can quickly enable common settings for your class and disable the rest.

Overall, I see the tool as doing what it sets out to do very well, offering a huge amount of configurability, and being visually attractive. That's the upside. Here's the downside: it comes configured for Warlocks, only Warlocks and Death Knights are fully implemented, configuration can be complicated, and reading the cooldown bar can be complicated. Despite all the ups and downs, it's a solid mod if you're willing to put some time into learning how to set it up.
