"with a heart dedicated to serving the people"

Everyone has unforgettable things, and what makes me unforgettable for life is the small badge worn by our beloved Premier Zhou with the words "Serve the People". It shines with the noble qualities of Premier Zhou serving the people wholeheartedly and working tirelessly until his death. Serving the people is my lifelong pursuit, and it is also the purpose that we community workers must always bear in mind. If society is a big stage, then the community is a small stage. The community is so small that it cannot be found on Earth; the officials of the community residents' committee are so low-ranking that they have no official position or rank. However, from the perspective of practicing "serving the people", the power of the community residents' committee is great. From the creation of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the harmonious construction of social security and medical insurance projects to the management of "trivial" neighborhood disputes, in the eyes of the residents, you are the envoy who builds a bridge connecting the Party, the government, and the masses. Therefore, the national premier affectionately calls us the "Alley Mayor". Today, here, I want to express some words originally hidden in my heart: I was originally a laid-off worker. In the days at the factory, I progressed from a worker to the head of the union group, step by step, doing my job conscientiously, receiving the favor of my leaders and the praise of my colleagues, accumulating rich grassroots work experience, and possessing solid organizational skills. In 2003, the factory went bankrupt. During the days of being laid off, I did many things I had never done before, often pondering my dreams. Could my life only be like this? Wandering and confused between dreams and reality, I matured and harvested, just as a song reflecting the lives of laid-off workers sang: Yesterday's glory has passed, tonight we walk into storms again. But as long as the heart remains, the dream remains, and the steps of action are still resolute; the belief in struggle remains firm. Finally, the opportunity came. On October 30, 2003, after being evaluated through training, internship, written exam, and interview, I proudly became a community worker. I revolved around the community residents every day, caring about serving the people. Although community work is busy and trivial, I know my career lies in building a harmonious society, and my future lies in demonstrating the Party's people-oriented policies. In September 2004, I resolutely gave up the opportunity to return to my unit to participate in reorganization, left the workplace where I had silently contributed for eighteen years, and devoted myself entirely to the community work that I deeply loved. "Fly your own ideals, consolidate your own hopes" has always been my relentless pursuit and dream. When I see the community residents strolling leisurely in a harmonious atmosphere, dancing lightly in the morning breeze and sunset, I feel indescribable comfort and happiness in my heart. The community aunties say: With you, we have a warm haven; the white-haired uncles say: With you, we have a peaceful abode. "Harmonious and close neighbors, civilized safety enjoyed by all." Even so, I still observe society carefully and savor life. I am doing the work of social people, which shows sincerity in harmony and effectiveness in details. I firmly believe that "cultivation is a kind of giving, harvest is a kind of reward." By June this year, through my efforts, I successfully passed the national unified examination and became an honored social worker. The community is the cell of society, facing the joys and sorrows of the residents every day. I always follow the principle that "as long as I make efforts," I will make the residents happier, less angry, less sad, and more joyful. "As long as I make efforts," the residents of the community will live in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere; "As long as I make efforts," the community will be a happy big family. Nowadays, the residents' committee has become a new modern community connected with more than 100 functional departments of the government. Community work is rough yet detailed, showing coarseness in detail, like "playing the piano with ten fingers." After several years of work, I know that the strength of one person is insignificant, but I also know that you and I are always together, sharing the same heart, with the organization by our side, the Party in our hearts, and theory in our hands, there is no wish that cannot be realized. At the time when the country decisively carried out economic reforms, I bravely became unemployed; when the country advocated building community civilization, I honorably took office. I have a heart full of responsibility and love, I love the community work I am engaged in, and I love the community residents I serve. wow power leveling related thematic articles: Other internal organs are affected and cause diseases.
