Every time OS X is upgraded, what interests me most are the subtle details; these are the key elements that enhance the usability of OS X. They also become more interesting to me after the hype around the headline-grabbing new features dies down. It's hard not to notice some of the big improvements in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard—Time Machine, Spaces, Stacks, Cover Flow, and changes in the desktop’s look and feel—but every time OS X is upgraded, what fascinates me the most are the little details.
