Friends who have been waiting patiently for Windows XP SP3 finally have something to look forward to. According to a French blog, Microsoft has released an early testing version of XP SP3 to around 12,000 testers (the same number of testers used previously for the Windows Vista SP1), which means we will soon be able to get our hands on this version. XP SP3 is part of a family of products that will be released at the beginning of 2008, including SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, and Windows Server 2008. The two SPs (XP and Vista) will appear in public view as “neighbors”.
