Why use Vista? Just because it looks good and provides temporary security (given Windows' market penetration, even a secure system will still be riddled with viruses), but slowing down your computer's performance just for a pretty interface is not worth it at all.

Nowadays, there are so many tools to beautify Windows. With a bit of time spent, XP could potentially look better than Vista!
