Currently, there are two design approaches for creating open-concept bathroom cleansing devices. One is fully open, while the other uses floor-to-ceiling glass or partitions to create a semi-open space, which is the more commonly adopted method by homeowners today.

At Ms. Chen's home in the city, I observed how the designer removed the wall between the bathroom and the master bedroom, forming an open-concept bathroom space. This not only increased natural lighting but also expanded the area, making the entire space brighter and more transparent. The extensive use of glass materials and high-end bathroom fixtures continues to convey a stylish and forward-thinking style.

Designer Huang Zhixun from He Li Decoration designed a semi-open bathroom for a homeowner renovating their marital home. Instead of completely removing the bathroom wall, the designer installed a half-glass wall, achieving transparency without losing privacy, thus creating a subtle semi-open bathroom with its own unique charm. The bathroom layout is relaxed yet organized, harmonizing with the bedroom’s white color scheme and exuding a strong sense of livability.
