Today, I'm not sure whether it's MSN or something else that's unstable, my computer screen has been acting up. I decided to target MSN first, and when I came online to download and install the software, I suddenly found out that version 8.5 BETA had been released. I searched on DIGLOG first and found out that the previous release was a leaked version. So, I eagerly registered as a tester, so I don't get accused of: only taking and not contributing! ^_^
New features in 8.5 BETA:
1. The interface has been beautified, all edges are rounded, making it look a bit dumb. The frame around personalized images looks like a TV frame.
2. You can see the other person's typing status and the time of the last sent message in the current chat window.
3. A small black robot has been added to the current chat window. Pulling it down reveals options for: Little I Robot, LIVE English-Chinese Dictionary, and Music Sprite (I'm not sure if I missed this in the previous version.)
For now, no other new functions have been discovered.
Installing the current version of MSNSHELL provides support!
