Official + Local Download: Vista SP1 Preview Patch Package

Do you remember the two Windows Vista upgrade patches mentioned several times recently? After a series of tests, Microsoft has finally released the official final version for download today, including the Simplified Chinese version.

KB938194 and KB938979 contain numerous upgrades and fixes for Vista, resolving many issues such as moving and copying files, driver and program compatibility, and operational stability. They also fix a series of bugs and enhance system performance, making them worth installing for every Vista user.

Both patch packages will be integrated into the upcoming Vista SP1, and the upgrades they provide are all part of Vista SP1. Moreover, a Microsoft spokesperson stated that Microsoft would soon offer two similar patch packages via Windows Update, potentially on August 14th, a Tuesday, which is the regular monthly patch day.
