【Original】Experience the beta version of transforming QQ Pinyin into "QQ Wubi" - for enthusiasts who love to tinker

It has been confirmed earlier that Tencent will launch QQ Wubi, but the official side hasn't given a specific time. To this day, there is still no movement.

Since the current input method market is almost saturated and the functions and appearances are all similar, even though they're not from the same mother, they are like multiples of twins. Therefore, I didn't have high expectations for QQ Wubi (at least in terms of function). In my understanding, all input methods essentially just switch code tables. Other symbols, expressions, character paintings are all intangible things. It can only be said that input methods are becoming more and more entertaining.

In order to promote the patriotic entertainment spirit, I would like to share an idea of experiencing "QQ Wubi" in advance here. The main idea is "modifying the code table", you just need to change the Wubi vocabulary:

If you are a user, it's very simple to use. You just need to download and import in two steps, nothing else needs to be managed;

If you are a tinkerer, then realizing this idea is not difficult, it's just a bit troublesome. In theory, any input method that supports "importing custom vocabulary" can be modified. It depends on personal luck and imagination.

Next, I will first talk about the pros and cons of this QQ Wubi (tinker edition), then the steps of the realization idea, and finally how to use it.

1. Some advantages/features

Can input Wubi and pinyin at the same time, similar to the "Wubi Pinyin" mode of Jidian Wubi

Continuous input after four codes, using Wubi to type words and pinyin to type sentences, without affecting each other (this is actually also a disadvantage)

The code table is based on "HaiFeng Vocabulary 9.1 (86 version)", with over 90,000 entries and 65,000 high-frequency commonly used word groups, plus optimized word frequency

The first four codes are mainly Wubi, basically achieving blind typing; compared to the average code length of pinyin, the first four codes don't have much impact

This article was typed using the "tinker edition", and currently feels pretty good

Extremely suitable for Wubi players who prefer single-character typing!
