Pidgin (formerly known as Gaim) is a very practical integrated IM chat software where you can use accounts such as MSN, Yahoo, AIM, QQ, etc. However, in the basic settings of Pidgin, you cannot use Google Talk. In fact, after some simple settings, you can log in to Google Talk with Pidgin.
