Sogou Pinyin has undergone extensive improvements in the past three months. The main accomplishments include: porting to a Unicode version, perfectly solving issues with IE7 under Vista, significantly improving the word library core, and innovatively developing a new feature called "Cell Word Library." The development of version 3.0 Beta2 is nearing completion and is currently in the final stages of testing and bug fixing. Below, we will disclose some of the improvements in the new version:
1. Unicode porting, which supports Windows systems that use non-simplified Chinese languages such as Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese.
2. Improvements in compatibility under Vista, ensuring perfect compatibility with IE7.
3. Significant improvement in the word library core, further enhancing the response speed of the input method.
4. New feature: Cell Word Library. The Cell Word Library is an open-source, shared, and细分化 (细分化 needs clarification but could mean segmented or specialized) word library that can be upgraded online. We will have a dedicated article introducing this feature shortly.
