Netscape was renamed Netscape Navigator.

In 2005, AOL revived Netscape, the dominant browser from the early Internet era, but it made no progress after its release and remained obscure under the strong presence of IE, FF, and Opera. During the much-rumored version 9.0, the name of the Netscape browser was finally changed to Netscape Navigator.
