As shown in the figure, what everyone can see are the files on an infected USB drive. After being infected by the virus, this USB drive generated 13 novels by Jin Yong in its root directory—only *The Linked Swords* is missing. The virus file format is a compressed file, and all are 40K in size.
This virus is what I'm referring to as the "Jin Yong Novels" virus, which is currently rampant in our company and causing immense damage. The general symptoms are that infected files turn into empty files with book icons, each having a size of 0 bytes. This ultimately leads to both local hard drives and network shared drives on the server becoming empty files. The virus primarily spreads via USB drives, and once a computer is infected, it becomes a source of infection, further spreading through the network to infect files on the server. Our company's Symantec Antivirus 8.0 shows no reaction to this virus.
