2007 Office System: Microsoft SDK for Open XML Formats

The primary file format of the 2007 Microsoft® Office system, OpenXML, is currently under review by ISO and is very likely to become a world standard. Microsoft Office Word 2007, Microsoft Office Excel® 2007, and Microsoft Office PowerPoint® 2007 will all use this format. As is well known, this format will be composed of a combination of open Zip and XML technologies. Developers can now download the OpenXML SDK from Microsoft to start development, including the System.IO.Packaging namespace, which will greatly assist your program in handling OpenXML.
