Adobe Systems has just announced the beta version of their ColdFusion web development system, Adobe ColdFusion 8.
In San Luis Obispo, California, the company announced on May 30th local time the public release of the ColdFusion 8 public beta. The testing phase is scheduled to conclude by late summer this year. The software can be found on the Adobe Labs site or through Adobe's hosting partner. The biggest highlight of the new version is its support for PDF and improvements in AJAX programming components.
ColdFusion is an efficient network application server development environment with high usability and development efficiency. Based on standard Java technology, it can integrate with XML, Web Services, and Microsoft .NET environments.
"Although this is a beta version, it is already very close to the official release version."
"We have infused a lot of Adobe's DNA into the original ColdFusion."
"I myself was impressed by the new version," said the developers.
