K-Meleon is a web browser based on Gecko. Its Gecko layout engine is developed by the Mozilla Foundation and also used in Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Suite, and SeaMonkey. K-Meleon aims to provide a lightweight browser for Microsoft Windows, using the operating system's native interface to create the program's toolbars and menus. This is similar to Galeon or Epiphany on Linux and other Unix-like operating systems, as well as Camino on Mac OS X. Due to its lower resource requirements, K-Meleon is more responsive than most other Gecko-based web browsers. This is beneficial for older hardware systems with limited resources.
K-MeleonCCF ME is an unofficial version of K-Meleon, which is faster and more suitable for domestic use habits.
