Take the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Air China as examples. ICBC is the world's largest bank in terms of market value. By the end of April 2009, the number of issued牡丹credit cards had exceeded 43 million with an annual accumulated consumption transaction volume of over RMB 120 billion, serving nearly one third of the credit card holders in China.
