Log Monitor is a system auxiliary gadget that can monitor the status of specified files and folders in real-time, reporting any changes to the system administrator.

The size of Log Monitor is very compact (only 600K). By default, the interface is in English after installation. When using it for the first time, users need to copy the Chinese language pack file ChineseGB.lng into the Lang folder within the software installation directory, then run the software and select "Options - Language" to choose Simplified Chinese.

The operation of Log Monitor is also simple. Users just need to add a file or directory through "Monitor - Add File or Add Directory" to create a monitoring project, then set the monitoring content under the "Condition" tab, such as file changes, additions, deletions, etc.

Next, under the "Action" tab, set the reminder method after the file or folder status changes. Log Monitor provides six reminder methods: creating a file list, executing a program, popping up a warning window, playing a sound, operating on a file, and terminating a program. The most commonly used one is the pop-up warning window.
