Russian hacker Muslix64 released a Blu-ray content cracking program. The key to cracking AACS lies in finding the unique key hidden on each disc. Muslix64 successfully captured the key residing in the memory through a player, which allowed him to copy HD DVD discs.
Another hacker named "arnezami" claimed that he had found the "processing key" to crack all Blu-ray and HD DVD movies. The defenses of the two major new high-definition standards, HD-DVD and Blu-ray, have finally been breached, just as quickly as Windows VISTA was compromised. It seems that the path to copyright protection still needs to continue. As the old Chinese saying goes, "There is no wall that does not leak," which aptly confirms this situation.
