Mossberg, published an article today stating that IE8 is the best-performing IE browser in recent years. Although IE8's speed was still slower than its main competitors like Firefox in Mossberg's tests, some of the new features it introduced were quite striking and might even attract some users to switch from other browsers to IE8.
