Allway Sync is a very easy-to-use Windows file synchronization software.
It can synchronize files between several folders. There are two types of synchronization methods: source folder synchronization and multi-directional synchronization:
1. Source Folder Synchronization uses one folder as the reference, deleting or overwriting files in the other folders that do not match the source folder.
2. Multi-directional Synchronization automatically covers old files in all synchronized folders with updated ones. The software includes a small database to monitor the status of files after each update. If you delete some files from a synchronized folder after a sync, it will also delete the corresponding copies in the other folders during the next sync, without copying unnecessary un-deleted files back into the updated folder. Since the software itself performs deletions and overwrites, it provides an option to use the Recycle Bin for file backup purposes. This allows users to recover mistakenly deleted or overwritten files from the Recycle Bin after accidentally performing incorrect synchronization actions (this feature is disabled by default; please activate the relevant settings in the software options).
In addition, this software has an automatic synchronization function that can automatically execute synchronization tasks under specified conditions.
The software can also filter out files or folders that you do not wish to synchronize by specifying a file filtering list.
If the size and number of files you want to synchronize are not too large, the software is free, and you can continue using it indefinitely. However, if the size and quantity of files you need to synchronize are extensive and require frequent synchronization, you may exceed its usage license limit. In such cases, you should purchase a "Professional Edition" usage license to perform frequent large-scale file synchronization operations. The main program path is Bin\syncappw.exe.
