October 24, 2003 was a day that the Concorde, the only supersonic civil airliner in the world, retired. The dream of human business supersonic air travel has never been extinguished.

Now an American company has started to re-plan the supersonic dream and boldly planned to bring back the supersonic commercial airliner to the sky in 2015. Aerion Supersonic Jet (each at 47.5 million Pounds) may have its trial flight in 2012. The speed of this kind of jet can reach 1.6 Mach. It takes only 3 hours to fly from New York to London, reducing the flight time by about 40%.
