How to select a screw compressor air compressor screw compression equipment

First, you need to determine the parameters and performance of the air compressor you require. Considerations should be made from the following aspects: whether it falls under general categories (chemical, paper-making, food, pharmaceuticals, instrumentation, fermentation, conveying, pneumatic) according to the flowchart for selection.

1. Discharge pressure:

The greater the discharge pressure of the compressor, the more energy it consumes. The sum of the usage pressure, pipeline resistance loss, and pressure drop of the associated equipment should be set as the lower limit value for selecting the rated discharge pressure of the compressor. In most cases, the diameter of the gas delivery pipeline should be selected to be larger to reduce resistance loss, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing energy consumption during long-term operation. Since the greater the discharge pressure of the compressor, the more energy it consumes, avoid choosing a compressor with excessively high discharge pressure.
