This standard applies to testing machines for metallic materials, non-metallic materials, balancing machines, and vibration testing machines (hereinafter referred to as testing machines). Other requirements for various types of testing machines shall be specified by the corresponding national or professional standards.
1. General Requirements
1.1 Under the conditions of compliance with transportation, storage, installation, and usage rules for testing machines, within one year from the date of delivery to the user, if damage occurs or normal operation is not possible due to poor manufacturing or packaging quality, the manufacturer of the testing machine shall be responsible for warranty, replacement, or return.
1.2 The model of the testing machine should comply with the relevant standard regulations.
1.3 The design of the testing machine should have a reasonable layout, an aesthetically pleasing appearance, simple operation, and ease of maintenance.
1.4 Accessories and tools that ensure the performance of the testing machine should be supplied together with the machine. Accessories and tools generally should be marked with the corresponding markings and specifications, such as the diameter range of specimens that the chuck can hold. Accessories and tools should be stored in an accessory box. Accessories and tools that expand the performance of the testing machine should be supplied according to user requirements and agreements.
1.5 There should be nameplates and indication plates or marks on the testing machine for lubrication, operation, safety, etc., which should remain clear for a long time.
1.6 For testing machines with electrical control, the electrical equipment on the testing machine should be installed and tested by the manufacturer on the machine itself and supplied together with it.
1.7 When applying load, the testing machine should not exhibit obvious vibration or impact.
1.8 During continuous loading, the pointer should not exhibit any stalling or jumping.
1.9 The speed of the testing machine should be correctly adjustable within the specified range.
1.10 The overall testing machine or components transported separately should meet the requirements for transportation and loading.
2. Safety Protection
2.1 The testing machine or parts/components with significant weight should be easy to lift and install, and lifting holes or lifting rings should be provided.
2.2 Parts/components that may become loose during the operation of the testing machine should have anti-loosening devices.
2.3 Exposed sliding parts, gears, pulleys, etc., should have protective devices.
2.4 Hydraulic systems should have safety devices for pressure adjustment.
2.5 Safety devices and limit devices should be sensitive and reliable.
2.6 If the motor is required to rotate in a single direction, the direction of motion should be indicated externally on the appropriate part.
