The Second Chinese College Students' Animation • Creative Competition Kicks Off
On September 22, 2008, the second Chinese College Students' Animation • Creative Competition co-organized by the Chinese animation portal Animation Network and the Chinese Zodiac Network, with the theme of "Animation world in turmoil, zodiac cartoons connected to China," kicked off at Peking University's Centennial Auditorium.
The Chinese College Students' Animation • Creative Competition, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, is an annual national animation event aimed at providing a stage for animation enthusiasts to showcase their talents and realize their dreams. This year, the organizing committee has collaborated with the Chinese Folklore Society and the Shanghai Animation Film Studio to launch the "Zodiac Mascot Cartoon Character Design Award Competition," with a total prize fund of up to 750,000 RMB.
