At 8:05 PM, athletes from countries participating in the Paralympics enter the venue, which will last approximately 90 minutes.
At 9:35 PM, the cultural performance of the Paralympics begins and lasts for 45 minutes.
At 10:18 PM, Liu Qi, Chairman of the Beijing Organizing Committee, and Philip Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee, deliver speeches respectively.
At 10:25 PM, Chinese President Hu Jintao declares the opening of the event.
At 10:26 PM, Andy Lau and Han Hong perform the theme song of the Beijing Paralympics "Fly with Dreams".
At 10:39 PM, the Beijing Paralympic torch enters the venue.
At 10:45 PM, the main torch of the Beijing Paralympics is lit.
