Since its establishment, our site has been actively adding and organizing novels. Through our continuous efforts, we finally gained a lot of attention. However, I still have a question: why do so many people read novels, especially TXT novels that can be stored in mobile phones? What do these novels bring to them? Can they learn or understand something from them? Or are there other reasons?
I've also read some novels, which are very wonderful, interesting, hilarious, and imaginative. They include creatures that run on the ground, fly in the sky, and swim in the water. They provide readers with infinite imagination space and time-traveling possibilities. Is this the reason why people like novels? Or are there other aspects? It's hard to say, you can think about it yourself.
In my personal opinion, good novels give people good ideas and thoughts, while bad novels may harm their mental health. Is it because the real society cannot let them realize their ideals and ambitions? Indeed, there are many difficulties and hardships in reality. But I don't know the real reason why people read novels. I remember Professor Yi Zhongtian once said that if the emperor of a country is a tyrant, the common people will寄托their hopes on loyal ministers. If there are no loyal ministers, the common people can only寄托their hopes on knights-errant. If there are no knights-errant in reality, they can only寄托their hopes on novels, because only in novels can they gallop on the battlefield and fly freely,寄托their illusory ideals.
The above are just my personal views and do not represent the website.
