The past events in Egypt have settled, and the scene switches to the magical Asian region... Adventurer Rick O'Connell returns once again in his original form. This time, he leaves the scorching heat of Egypt for the cold Himalayas, entering an ancient Chinese emperor's tomb hidden there.
In fact, Rick has long retired and now lives a peaceful ordinary life with his wife Evelyn, but their son Alex inherits his father's adventurous nature, searching all over the world for those so-called ancient legends full of fantastical colors.
