Brazil captain: China's women's volleyball team had too much pressure and did not play at their own level

On the evening of August 21st, Beijing time, the Chinese women's volleyball team lost 0-3 to Brazil in the Olympic women's volleyball semifinals and failed to make it to the Olympic final. The Brazilian team will compete with the US women's volleyball team for the gold medal.

After the match, Fofao, the captain of the Brazilian team, said, "We were a bit anxious at the start of the game and couldn't settle down to play. Later, we stabilized and played very decisively. Compared to four years ago, we are more balanced and confident, and this is our biggest difference."

Fofao believed that the Chinese women's volleyball team was under too much pressure and didn't perform up to their level. "Playing at home doesn't always give you an advantage; support and cheers don't necessarily help at home. The Chinese women's volleyball team didn't really play what they should," Fofao said.
